Bamboo care

Bamboo viscose needs little care, always the same care. Follow it, and the fabric stays smooth for years.

In the washing machine

30°C, gentle cycle

Low spin. The first few times, wash new pieces separately.

Mild liquid detergent

No bleach and no fabric softener, which closes the fibres.

Air dry

Keep away from direct sun. No tumble dryer: when wet, viscose is more fragile and heat damages it.

Warm iron, if needed

Many people don't iron it at all: laid out well, it smooths out on its own.

Pilling

It happens from friction when the fabric is wet. That's why a low spin and not overloading the machine matter: with a load of jeans and zips, the viscose wears out faster.
