The material
Every Looniva bed is made from a single fabric: viscose made from bamboo, 300 thread count.
To the touch
It's smooth and cool as soon as you touch it, almost like silk.
It creases more than percale. If you want the bed to look as crisp as a hotel's, keep that in mind.
Good to know
Moisture
Viscose holds about 13% of its weight in moisture, cotton 8.5% (reference values, ASTM D1909 method). At night, skin vapour passes into the fabric.
Sheets for those who sweat at nightThe certificate
The fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, product class I. The certificate covers harmful substances in the fabric and is issued to the yarn supplier.

Questions about the material
No. Bamboo is the plant, viscose is the fibre obtained from its cellulose through a chemical process. The label reads 100% viscose, as required by law.
It holds more moisture than cotton and feels cool to the touch. Room temperature matters more than the sheet.
Viscose is prone to friction when wet. A gentle wash at 30°C, low spin and no tumble dryer keep it in check.
