Life moves quickly between work, the city, phones and people, and we like it that way. Every rush, though, needs a fixed point, and ours is the bed: the place where the day settles in the evening and from which it sets off again the next morning. Looniva was founded in Milan in 2026 to dress that fixed point.
Calm at the centre
We picture rest as the still centre of a day in motion. Everything around it moves fast, as it should; at the centre there is a place that stays the same, waits for you and gets you back on your feet.
That is why we focus on one precise moment: when you slip under the sheets and the day finally stops. It is the only moment when nobody asks you for anything, and we want it to match everything else. Taking care of yourself, for us, starts there, in something you repeat every evening without thinking about it.
Choosing bamboo
For that moment we chose one fabric only: bamboo, because it's the one you feel most when you lie down.
To the touch
Smooth and cool to the touch, almost like silk. It has a soft, matt sheen that makes the room feel calmer even when the rest of the house is untidy.
At night
It holds about 13% of its weight in moisture, cotton 8.5%. Skin vapour passes into the fabric, and the bed stays cool to the touch.
