The fabric
The fabric is 100% viscose, made from bamboo, 300 thread count. Viscose is a man-made fibre of plant origin: bamboo cellulose is dissolved and regenerated into filament, which feels smooth and fluid. Under standard conditions it holds about 13% of its own weight in moisture, against 8.5% for cotton (ASTM D1909): it absorbs more vapour before feeling damp. The fabric is covered by the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate no. 11-62294, product class I, issued to the yarn supplier.
Under the duvet cover, the warmth comes from the duvet; the cover is smooth to the touch.

Does the 200x200 duvet cover fit a double bed?
No. On a 160 cm mattress that leaves 20 cm of drop per side, less than the height of the mattress. For a double you need the 255x200, for a 180 king the 260x240.
What size duvet cover do I need for a 140 cm bed?
The 200x200, at €89: on a 140 cm bed it leaves 30 cm of drop per side.
How do you wash a bamboo duvet cover?
In the washing machine at 30°C, gentle cycle, with the zip closed. No bleach, fabric softener or tumble dryer; dry in the air, away from direct sunlight.
