The fabric
The fabric is 100% viscose, made from bamboo, 300 thread count. Viscose is a man-made fibre of plant origin: bamboo cellulose is dissolved and regenerated into filament, which feels smooth and fluid. Under standard conditions it holds about 13% of its own weight in moisture, against 8.5% for cotton (ASTM D1909): it absorbs more vapour before feeling damp. The fabric is covered by the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate no. 11-62294, product class I, issued to the yarn supplier.
In summer the flat sheet is used alone, as the only layer. In winter it sits under the duvet, where the warmth comes from the filling.

What is a flat sheet?
It’s the sheet without corners that lies over the body, between the skin and the duvet or blanket. It’s also called the top sheet; the one that dresses the mattress is the fitted sheet.
What size top sheet do I need for a double bed?
The 260x290, at €79, for both the 160 and 180 mattress. It leaves enough fabric to hang down the sides and tuck in at the foot.
Do I need a top sheet if I use a duvet cover?
